Special STR Licenses may be granted in one of two situations.
First Situation
- You operated as a STR prior to June 21, 2023 on a continuous basis.
- Your Transient Lodging Tax filings are current and all taxes due are paid in full.
- There are no licenses available for the neighborhood in which the STR is located.
Second Situation
- You operated as a STR prior to June 21, 2023 on a continuous basis.
- You have operated an additional STR continuously since before June 21, 2023.
- Transient Lodging Tax filings for all STR’s owned are current and taxes due paid in full.
NOTE: This Special STR License is renewable until the seven-year amortization period ends in 2031, unless the license is allowed to lapse or is revoked for any reason.
