A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Mosier, Wasco County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018, will be held on Wednesday May 17th, 2017, 6:00 p.m., at the Senior Center at the Mosier Creek Terrace, 501 E. Second Ave.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, review the budget as proposed by the Budget Officer, approve the property tax rate, and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the budget committee will occur. A public hearing will be held on possible uses of State Revenue Sharing funds. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained at a reasonable cost on or after May 18th at City Hall, 208 Washington, Mon., Wed., Fri., 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
