The City of Mosier is currently seeking interested citizens to serve on the City Budget Committee. There are currently seven vacancies for positions with a 2-year term, beginning April 2026.
About the Budget Committee
The Budget Committee is composed of the City Council and an equal number of appointed citizens. It reviews the proposed budget document submitted by the Budget Officer, receives the budget message, and provides public opportunities for comment. The Committee reviews, amends, and approves the budget before it goes to the City Council for adoption.

Eligibility Requirements
Per Oregon Local Budget Law, appointed members must:
- Be registered voters (electors) of the City of Mosier.
- Not be officers, agents, or employees of the City of Mosier.
